Job Title: Supply Supervisor

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary (Approx. 3-4 months)

Pay: $40-$50/hr.

Summary

Seeking a Supply Supervisor to support new vehicle launches over a 3-4 month assignment. This role leads a team responsible for coordinating supply chain activities tied to new model introductions and sustaining product performance during the first 18 months post-launch. The position focuses on driving operational efficiency, strengthening processes, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring effective communication across internal teams, external partners, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide a team managing supply activities for new model launches, ensuring timely product availability and smooth distribution execution
  • Provide data-driven insights, recommendations, and decisions to support successful launch outcomes
  • Establish and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational and customer priorities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs); monitor adherence and drive continuous improvement
  • Create and deliver regular performance reports and updates for stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Mentor team members through training programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to elevate team capability
  • Coordinate weekly team meetings and provide direction to meet inventory targets, including fill rates and months of supply
  • Identify process or system gaps and implement improvements to enhance reporting, ordering efficiency, and overall operations
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues and improve service levels
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, ad hoc analyses, and special projects as needed
  • Promote a collaborative and accountable team culture with a focus on continuous development
  • Partner with global teams to share best practices and optimize supply chain performance

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory or supply chain management
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of driving solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
  • Proficiency in data tools such as MS Access or SQL preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage timelines, reporting, and multiple priorities
  • Adaptable and responsive in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
